    Notes

    How to Store
To store Tempero Baiano, transfer it to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The blend should last for several months if stored properly. It's a good idea to label the container with the date the blend was made so that you can keep track of its freshness.
    Make-Ahead
Tempero Baiano is a great spice blend to make ahead of time to save time and add convenience to your cooking. To make it ahead of time, prepare the blend according to the recipe and store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The blend will stay fresh for several months. By making the blend, you can quickly season your dishes with a quick sprinkle of the blend.
This can save time during meal prep and ensure your dishes are consistently flavorful. You can also experiment with using the blend differently, such as adding it to marinades or rubs for meat dishes. Another advantage of making Tempero Baiano ahead of time is that you can adjust the spice level to your preference. For example, if you find the blend too spicy, you can reduce the amount of red chili pepper flakes and cayenne pepper.
