Known for its smooth texture and healthy fats, this shake is packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making it a balanced option for breakfast or a satisfying snack.

It can also be customized with banana, pineapple, spinach, or protein powder for added nutrition.

This Paraguayan-inspired Avocado Shake recipe is simple, quick, and easy to customize.

It blends into a light, creamy, naturally sweet drink made with ripe avocado, milk, and your choice of sweetener.

Ready in under a minute, it's perfect for busy mornings or a healthy pick-me-up. Add fruit or greens to boost nutrition while keeping the flavor smooth and delicious.

How to Make Avocado Shake

Note: Full instructions are provided in the recipe card below.

Scoop the avocado flesh into the blender, then add the remaining ingredients.

Blend until smooth. If needed, pulse a few times to help everything blend evenly.

Adjust the consistency with more milk if you prefer a thinner shake. Pour into a glass and serve cold. Enjoy!

Storage, Make Ahead, & Freezing

Storage: Pour any leftover shake into an airtight container or jar with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Before drinking, give it a good stir or shake to bring the ingredients back together, as natural separation may occur.

Make-Ahead: This Avocado Shake is best enjoyed fresh, but you can prepare it up to 24 hours in advance. Blend the ingredients as directed, transfer the shake to an airtight container, and store it in the refrigerator. When ready to serve, stir or shake well. If the shake has thickened or separated, simply add a splash of milk and blend again to restore its silky texture.

Freezing: Freezing is not recommended. Avocado-based shakes tend to separate and develop a gritty texture once thawed, so the best results come from enjoying the shake fresh or refrigerated only.
