Coconut truffles are a delicious and easy-to-prepare treat, perfect to satisfy the sweet tooth.
These truffles are made with just a few ingredients, such as sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut and a touch of butter, vanilla or coconut extract.
The truffles are rolled in additional shredded coconut to give them a delicious texture and flavor. This recipe is ideal for coconut lovers who want a quick and easy dessert.
How to Make Coconut Truffles

Combine the condensed milk, coconut, and butter in a small saucepan. Place over medium heat and simmer, constantly stirring with a wooden spoon.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue stirring until the mixture thickens and, when stirred, pulls away from the bottom of the pan for about 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and place the mixture in a bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled for 2 hours. Lightly butter your hands. Using a tablespoon or small scoop, scoop some of the Brazilian Coconut Truffles mixtures into your hands and roll them into a bite-size ball.
Roll the truffle in one of the coconut coatings and place it on a bonbon cup or a plate. Continue with the remaining coconut mixture. Store the Coconut truffles in the refrigerator for up to a week.

- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract or pure coconut extract.
