Ingredients You'll Need
- Strawberries: Fresh, juicy, and slightly tart-they're the main ingredient and add natural flavor and color. You can substitute with any fruit you like, fresh or canned.
- Nestlé Media Crema (table cream): A light, pourable cream that gives the dessert a smooth, creamy texture without being too rich. It can be substituted with heavy cream, though the flavor may vary slightly.
- Sugar: Adds sweetness to balance the tartness of the fruit. You can substitute with sweetened condensed milk.
- Vanilla extract (optional): Enhances the flavor.

How to Make Crema con Fresa
Note: Full instructions are provided in the recipe card below.
1. Hull and slice strawberries.
2. Mix media crema with sugar or sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
3. Combine with strawberries.
4. Chill for 15-30 minutes.
5. Serve cold.

Hint: If you like a richer, sweeter cream, try sweetening it with sweetened condensed milk instead of sugar-it makes it extra delicious. Let it chill before serving so the flavors come together.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Media Crema?
Media crema, or table cream, is a light, pourable cream used in many Latin American dishes. It's thicker than milk but lighter than heavy cream, with a mild flavor. It adds a smooth, creamy texture to both sweet and savory recipes.
What's the difference between media crema and heavy cream?
Media crema is lighter and more pourable, while heavy cream is thicker and richer. Both work, but media crema gives a more traditional taste and texture.
Can I blend the strawberries into the cream?
Yes! For a different texture, you can blend a portion of the strawberries into the cream for a fruity, pink base-then fold in the rest as chunks.
