Let marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes up to 1 an hour. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a blender until it forms a smooth sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add 1 or 2 tablespoons more water and blend again. Transfer to a bowl and set aside. As you prepare to cook, thread the beef onto skewers. Preheat a grill over medium-high heat until hot. Lightly brush oil onto the grill gates and spread the beef skewers on top. Notes

    How to Store & Re-Heat
    • To store: Proper storage and reheating are essential to ensure that the flavors and textures of Beef Satay are preserved. Cooked Beef Satay can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
    • To reheat: Preheating your oven or using a skillet over medium heat is recommended. The satay skewers should be placed on a baking sheet or in the skillet and heated for 5-10 minutes, occasionally turning, until the meat is warmed.
The peanut sauce can also be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week and reheated in the microwave or stove. Leftover Beef Satay can be chopped up and added to salads or rice bowls for a quick and easy meal. Following these guidelines, you can enjoy the delicious flavors of Beef Satay for several days after cooking.
    Make-Ahead
Preparing Beef Satay can save you time and make meal planning easier. Marinating the beef up to 24 hours in advance can result in a more flavorful and tender satay. After marinating, you can skewer the beef and keep it in the refrigerator until ready to grill. Making peanut sauce and storing it in the fridge can save you time.
When ready to serve, grill the satay skewers until charred and smoky. If you want to do the satay later, you can reheat the skewers in the oven or stovetop. By following these tips, you can have a delicious and flavorful Beef Satay ready to serve with minimal effort.
    How to Freeze
Freezing Beef Satay is a great way to prepare a large batch of the dish and save time for future meals. To freeze Beef Satay, allow the cooked skewers to cool down to room temperature before packaging them. Wrap the cooled satay skewers tightly in plastic wrap, then in aluminum foil or freezer-safe ziplock bags. Be sure to remove as much air as possible to prevent freezer burn. Label the package with the name and date of the dish before storing it in the freezer for up to 2-3 months.
When ready to eat, thaw the Beef Satay in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours. Avoid thawing the satay in the microwave or under hot water, as this can cause the meat to become tough. Instead, reheat the thawed Beef Satay using the oven or a skillet, following the reheating instructions mentioned earlier in this conversation. Following these guidelines, you can enjoy delicious and flavorful Beef Satay even when you need more time to prepare it from scratch.
