In a food processor with the shredding disc attachment, shred the cabbage and carrot. In a large bowl, add shredded cabbage, carrot, and onion.
In another small bowl, whisk the rest of the ingredients together until fully combined and smooth. Toss together thoroughly and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Storage: Store orange coleslaw in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir before serving to redistribute the dressing.
Make Ahead: Prepare the coleslaw up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate. The cabbage softens slightly and the citrus flavors blend together.
Freezing: Not recommended. Cabbage and carrots lose their crisp texture and become watery after thawing.
