If you love sweet, velvety, latte-style drinks, you’re going to love this easy Café Cremoso recipe! It’s only 3 ingredients, and you can make it hot or cold! I used NESCAFÉ CLASICO for my recipe, which's my go brand to make Frappés & other Cold Coffee Variations!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup + 2 Tablespoons NESCAFÉ CLASICO Dark Roast Instant Coffee* (any soluble coffee brand)
  • ½ cup + 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ cup hot water

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. Use an electric mixer set to a low setting to whip the mixture continuously for about 10 minutes *(If you don’t have a hand mixer, it can be whipped by hand, just know the process takes a little longer, about 20 to 25 minutes. Good luck!)🍀 The mixture will begin to turn a lighter color and thicken as you keep whipping it.
  • Once the mixture has reached a thick (I mean so thick that it will not drop off the spoon if turned over), light and fluffy consistency, and is a golden brown color, it’s ready. Store it in an air-tight container in the freezer for up to three months. Don't worry, and it won't harden; no need to defrost to use!😉
  • To make the coffee: Fill up a glass with your choice of milk *(hot or cold, with or without ice), add a generous dollop of the Café Cremoso, and adjust to your liking. Mix well before drinking. Enjoy!

How to Store & Re-Heat
To store: Transfer the whipped mixture to an airtight container. Place the container in the freezer for up to three months. When ready to use the mixture, remove it from the freezer and use it directly from the frozen state. There's no need to defrost it!
To reheat: If you're using cold milk, heat it in a microwave or on the stove until it reaches your desired temperature. If you're using hot milk, add the mixture directly to it and stir until it is fully incorporated. If you want to reheat the mixture, you can scoop out the desired amount and heat it in a microwave-safe bowl for a few seconds until it is warm. Be sure not to overheat the mixture or the milk, as it can affect the texture and taste of the final drink.
Make-Ahead
Whip the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water together until it becomes thick and fluffy, as described in the recipe. Transfer the whipped Café Cremoso mixture to an airtight container. Place the container in the freezer for up to three months. When you're ready to use the Café Cremoso mixture, take it out of the freezer and use it directly from the frozen state. There's no need to defrost it!
How to Freeze
Transfer the whipped Café Cremoso mixture to an airtight container. You can use a plastic container or a freezer-safe zip-top bag. Ensure the container or bag is tightly sealed to prevent any air from getting in. Label the container or bag with the date to track how long it has been stored. Place the container or bag in the freezer. The mixture can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.
Notes:
  • Customize this drink by adding some cinnamon, nutmeg, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla, etc., into the bowl with the coffee before whipping.
  • You need to use instant coffee for this recipe.
  • The amount of instant coffee or sugar can be adjusted to suit individual taste preferences.
