How to Make Fideo a la Manteca

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rapid boil over high heat. Add 2 tablespoons kosher salt to the boiling water, stirring to dissolve.
Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook it according to the package instructions, stirring occasionally, until it's al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander; set aside.
Return the pot to low heat, and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the pasta and toss it to coat with the butter.
Remove the pot from the heat and garnish with grated Parmesan and/ or chopped parsley (if using) over the pasta.
Divide the Buttered Noodles into serving bowls and enjoy hot.

Ingredients
- 1 pound linguine or any pasta you like
- 6 tablespoons unsalted or salted butter , softened
- Kosher salt , as needed
- Freshly grated Parmesan , optional
- 2 tablespoons Italian parsley , chopped (optional)
