Camila's Tips and Variations

  • For the creamiest texture, use fully ripe avocados. When gently pressed, they should be soft but not mushy.
  • For the best flavor, choose for good-quality bittersweet or dark chocolate bars or chips. Dark chocolate with 70% cocoa works well for a rich taste. *For a substitute, use 3 tablespoons of unsweetened 100% cocoa powder. Adjust sweetness with sugar or artificial sweetener to taste.
  • For More Chocolatey Flavor, add 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • If you prefer a sweeter mousse, add a tablespoon of honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, demerara sugar, or artificial sweetener to the mixture.
  • Make sure to chill the mousse for at least an hour or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the texture to firm up.
  • Blend the mixture until it's completely smooth and creamy to avoid any avocado chunks.
