Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup milk optional to use non-dairy milk instead
  • ½ cup half and half optional to use non-dairy vanilla coffee creamer instead
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries steamed and washed
  • ½ cup low-fat strawberry or vanilla-flavored yogurt
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Wash the strawberries and remove the stems if using fresh strawberries. Place the strawberries, half-and-half, milk, yogurt, and ice cubes into a blender. Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined, and the mixture is smooth and creamy with no fruit pieces remaining. Pour the strawberry smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. If desired, you can garnish the smoothie with a sprinkle of crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
