Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter , softened
  • 250 ml whole milk
  • tablespoons cornstarch or all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Add the milk and whisk in the cornstarch in a small pan until completely dissolved. Place the pan over medium heat and stir continuously until it reaches a slow boil. The cream will thicken, so be careful not to let it stick to the bottom.
  • Lower the heat and cook for a couple of more minutes until you reach the desired thickness. Pour the cream into a heatproof glass bowl and transfer it to the refrigerator to cool for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Once cooled, place the cream in a blender, add the unsalted butter, and blend until creamy and silky, about 5 minutes. That's it!😉 Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Enjoy!

Notes

How to Store & Re-Heat
To store: Table Cream, let it cool to room temperature, and then transfer it to an airtight container. Place the container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When ready to use, remove the cream from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature. Stir it well before using it to ensure it is smooth and creamy.
To reheat: If you need to reheat Table Cream, do so gently to avoid curdling or separating. Heat it over low heat in a saucepan, stirring continuously until it reaches the desired temperature. Avoid boiling the cream, as this can cause it to separate. If the cream separates, try blending it in a blender or food processor to restore its smooth texture.
