Notes

How to Store & Re-Heat
To store: You can store the Fig and Ricotta Toast in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. If you've already assembled the toast, keep it with the toppings separated from the bread to prevent it from getting soggy.
To reheat: Toast the bread in a toaster or oven until it's warm and crispy. Warm the bread in a pan on the stove over medium heat, flipping it occasionally to ensure it heats evenly. Once the bread is warmed, assemble the toast with ricotta cheese, figs, nuts, and honey, and enjoy!
Remember that the toppings may not be as fresh and juicy after being stored in the fridge, so add a fresh drizzle of honey or nuts before reheating and serving. Additionally, it's best to avoid storing the toast in the fridge for longer than 2 days, as it may become stale or lose its texture.
Make-Ahead
To make Fig and Ricotta Toast ahead, prepare the ingredients separately. Toast the bread, slice the figs, and chop the nuts in advance. Store these components separately in airtight containers. When you're ready to enjoy the toast, spread ricotta cheese on the bread, add the fig slices and nuts, drizzle with honey, and serve.
