  • 3 tablespoons honey , adjust to taste
  • teaspoon kosher salt

Notes

How to Store & Re-Heat
  • To store: Tightly cover it in an airtight container and refrigerate it for up to a week. When ready to use, allow the butter to soften at room temperature for a few minutes.
  • To reheat: If you need to reheat a larger amount, gently melt the desired portion in a microwave-safe bowl at short intervals, stirring in between, until it reaches the desired consistency.
Avoid overheating to prevent separation. Enjoy the creamy goodness of this recipe whenever you desire by following these simple storage and reheating instructions.
Make-Ahead
Prepare this recipe in advance by following it and beating it until fluffy. Store it tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to a week. When needed, let it soften at room temperature before enjoying it.
How to Freeze
To freeze honey butter, transfer it to a freezer-safe container or plastic freezer bag, and remove any excess air. The butter will expand slightly as it freezes, so leave some headspace in the container to prevent it from bursting. It can be frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to use the frozen honey butter, transfer it to the refrigerator to thaw overnight. Once thawed, stir it well to ensure that the butter and honey are fully incorporated before using. It's not recommended to freeze honey butter previously frozen and thawed, as the texture and quality may be affected.
