Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cups fresh squeezed lemon juice , strained
  • 8 oz. raspberries , plus more for serving
  • 5 cups filtered water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • In a blender, puree the fresh raspberry until smooth. If desired, strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove any solids or seeds. In a large pitcher, combine the raspberry puree, fresh lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  • Add the filtered water to the pitcher and stir again. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and the lemonade to become cold and refreshing. When ready to serve, pour the Raspberry lemonade over ice in glasses. Garnish with fresh raspberries and lemon slices, if desired.

Notes

How to Store
Raspberry Lemonade should be stored in the refrigerator to maintain its freshness and prevent bacterial growth. Transfer any leftover lemonade into a sealed container or pitcher with a lid. Ensure the container you use to store the Raspberry Lemonade has an airtight seal or a lid that fits tightly. This helps to prevent the drink from absorbing any odors from the refrigerator and keeps it from spilling or leaking.
Raspberry Lemonade is best consumed within 2 to 3 days for optimal flavor and quality. While it may still be safe to drink after this period, the taste and freshness might deteriorate. When you're ready to serve the stored Raspberry Lemonade, give it a good shake or stir to recombine any settled ingredients and ensure an even distribution of flavors.
How to Make-Ahead
Follow the recipe instructions to make the Raspberry Lemonade as usual, combining the lemon juice, raspberry puree, water, and sugar. Adjust the sweetness to your liking and make sure everything is well-mixed. Once the Raspberry Lemonade is prepared, let it cool to room temperature before transferring it to airtight containers or pitchers with lids.
Place the containers of Raspberry Lemonade in the refrigerator and allow them to chill for at least 2 hours or overnight. This gives the flavors time to meld and develop. Before serving, give the chilled Raspberry Lemonade a good stir to recombine any settled ingredients and ensure an even distribution of flavors. When ready to serve, add garnishes such as lemon wedges and fresh raspberries. This adds a pop of color and freshness to the drink.
