Notes
How to Store & Re-HeatTo store: Wrap it tightly in aluminum foil or place it in an airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. It's best to store the components of the sandwich separately, especially if you have leftover steak, ham, or fried egg. This will help maintain their textures and flavors. When ready to reheat, assemble the sandwich with fresh lettuce and tomato to ensure optimal freshness. To reheat: There are a few methods you can choose from. The preferred method is to reheat it in an oven or toaster oven. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the sandwich on a baking sheet and cover it loosely with foil to prevent the bread from drying. Heat it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is heated.Make-AheadTo make the Steak Sandwich ahead of time, you can prepare the individual components and store them separately. Cook and slice the steak, cook the ham, and fry the eggs as needed. Let them cool to room temperature before storing them in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator. You can also slice the tomatoes and wash and dry the lettuce in advance. When you're ready to serve, assemble the sandwich by layering the ingredients between the bread slices. This way, you can save time and have the sandwich ready to enjoy without extensive preparation.Notes:
Store lettuce and tomato separately from the steak in the fridge for up to 2 days and assemble just before serving.
