Notes
How to StoreIf you have leftover Pomegranate Margarita, store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To store it, pour the remaining margarita into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid, and place it in the refrigerator. Make sure to cover the jar tightly to prevent any odors from the fridge from seeping into the drink. When you're ready to serve the leftover margarita, give it a good shake in the jar to remix the ingredients that may have separated. You may also need to strain it again to remove any fruit pulp or seeds that may have settled to the bottom.Make-AheadCombine the pomegranate juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice in a pitcher. You can adjust the quantities based on the number of servings you need. Stir well to combine. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator to chill. You can store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before serving. When you're ready to serve, rim the glasses with salt and sugar as described in the recipe. Fill each glass with ice. Stir the mixture well, then pour it into the prepared glasses over the ice. Sprinkle some pomegranate arils on top of each drink and garnish the rim with a lime wedge, if desired. Serve the Pomegranate Margarita immediately. How to FreezePour the leftover margarita into a freezer-safe container or ice cube tray. Make sure to leave some headspace in the container or trays since the margarita will expand as it freezes. Label the container or tray with the date and contents to easily identify it later.Place the container or trays in the freezer until solid, usually taking 3-4 hours. When you're ready to serve the frozen Pomegranate Margarita, remove the container or trays from the freezer and let them thaw for a few minutes at room temperature. You can also blend the frozen margarita cubes in a blender until slushy.
